My parents were boating along the Ottawa River and asked if my friend and I would like to meet them in Montebello for a couple of nights very last minute. The owner went out of her way to accomodate us with a room even though she had had a fully booked weekend and only had one smaller room available that she wasn't sure we would enjoy. The room was beautiful! Loved the decorations and how it was kept. The owner is really all about the customer experience and you can tell she is passionate about it. The breakfast was amazing! Nothing like I have ever had at any other bed and breakfast I have ever been to. It's what reminded me to write this review even though my stay was in August! I hope I get another last minute call to make a visit next summer!
Nous avons passé une nuit dans cette chambre d'hôtes où nous nous sommes sentis immédiatement à l'aise. Lili, la propriétaire, est à la fois chaleureuse, joviale et très soucieuse du bien-être de ses clients. Dès notre arrivée, elle a pris du temps avec nous et nous a recommandé des visites et des restaurants à proximité. A chaque fois que nous avons suivi ses conseils, nous avons été conquis. La décoration de la maison est à son image : en un mot, chaleureuse ! Les chambres ne sont pas grandes mais sont très bien agencées. La propreté et l'entretien général sont absolument impeccable. Pour ne rien gâcher, le petit déjeuner est fabuleux! Il est varié, copieux et cuisiné : Les œufs bénédictine avec la sauce hollandaise (recette sécrète de Lili) resteront pour longtemps dans ma mémoire tant c'était bon ! Je vous passe sur la petite niôle locale qu'elle m'a sorti du placard pour conclure. Lili est tout simplement merveilleuse, on sent le plaisir qu'elle prend à recevoir. Nous aurions dû rester plus !
B&B très chaleureux au centre du village. Lili est généreuse et très soucieuse du bien-être de ses clients. La maison est très bien équipée avec une bonne literie, du linge de maison de qualité et tout le nécessaire pour passer un agréable moment ( bibliothèque de films ou cafetière dans la chambre par exemple). Le petit déjeuner est copieux et bien préparé avec des produits locaux. Notre seul regret est de n'y avoir séjourné qu'une seule nuit ...
Beautiful rooms. Great location. Linda is a superb host, cooking breakfast from scratch everyday using local, organic ingredients. You can ask her for anything and she will make it happen! Will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking to visit Montebello.
We stayed here one night in October and had a wonderful stay! It is only 5 minutes from Omega Park and within walking distance of everything in Montebello. Lili made us feel right at home immediately. She is a lovely lady with many interesting tales to tell from her travels. She speaks both French and English perfectly, so we had fun switching back and forth according to our whim. The breakfast she made us was plentiful and absolutely heavenly - prepared with the finest local ingredients, including local chocolate and a coffee liqueur for our organic coffee! The room was comfortable and cosy. We will definitely go back if we are in the area Thank you, Lili, for being such a wonderful host and for having us!

Great place to recuperate while cycling between Montreal and Ottawa. Quiet comfortable rooms furnished carefully for the traveller. Lili’s breakfasts gladden the eye as well as satisfy the appetite.
We were fortunate to have an amazing stay at Aux Auvents Rouges. Upon our arrival, the owner has warmly welcomed my wife, my teen and myself. We immediately felt the passion and the kind heart of Linda! The rooms charmed us with their beautiful scenery and we immediately noticed their good smell. What to say about the breakfast.. we ate like a royal family! Every detail was neat and what a delicacy. I recommend to all this beautiful cottage worthy of being recognized World Class!
